The best way to be successful at mlm recruiting is to have passion. Everybody has some degree of passion, and those that are best at mlm recruiting seem to have the most passion.
To make money at MLM one has to be properly organized. To be a lawyer or an engineer or a teacher you must first get the required education. If anybody was allowed to be a lawyer our justice system would be chaos. But with the proper schooling, these types of professionals are able to excel at what they do.
This is applicable to MLM and recruiting new MLM individuals. MLM is not nearly as complicated as being a lawyer but there is still a learning curve. The great thing is that the learning curve is small and nearly anybody can learn how to do it.
The key to MLM recruiting is having the right recruiter. The recruiter, often referred to as the up line, is where an individual will learn the ways of MLM. Valuable information in MLM is like a gold nugget in a stream of information. Like the stream there are millions of different ideas and thoughts of how to recruit others to network marketing. Those ideas often come and go and are of little value. Then there are those little gold nuggets that are worth a million times more than the other parts of a stream. All a new recruiter needs is to know what those gold nuggets are and where they are found. With the wrong recruiter often times the information they give their down line is like common stones worth little or nothing.
One of the gold nuggets of multi level marketing is passion. Passion for the products and passion for the service one is providing. Passion is not something that one can learn in school, but it is something that is developed. It is important to have the right product to be passionate about. Once you have this it is just a matter of believing in oneself and sharing that passion with others. With the right amount of genuine passion others will be attracted to what you are offering. Without passion there is little of a driving force to market.
Developing passion in recruiting is not so simple. Often times it is developed through extreme tragedy or extreme success. With extreme experiences comes a need to dig deep into one’s soul. Well, what happens if one hasn’t had extreme situations in life. The answer is passion can be developed.
It starts with confidence. Confidence in recruiting, confidence in great products, confidence in success. Often confidence starts out off of somebody else's confidence. By trusting another’s confidence one can slowly begin to build. It doesn’t come by thinking, “wow this compensation plan is great” or “wow, that guy makes a lot of money doing this”. It comes from thinking “wow this is an amazing product that people need to hear about”. Or “this is an amazing way to do business and there are many people at there who can benefit from something so simple.”
Not to sound corny but the strongest drive anybody can have is love. Love for oneself, love for family, love for others. If you care about others passion will come when you share the things that will help them. If you don’t have a love for people you most likely have been around the wrong people in life. Be around those that care, and you will learn to care yourself.
Now if you have a love for money, there is definitely a driving force that could create passion. But this passion will be more manufactured then genuine. Greed develops this way and there is little quality of life when one cares about money than anything else.
