Building a quality mailing list to supplement your MLM business can be an essential part of your success. If you are already in MLM you may be accustomed to building lists of your friends and family and contacts you have. This a good place to start, but there is much more than that.
Where to begin:
Find a means to have prospects fill out their own name and mailing information. That can be fliers or any sort of advertisement that has prepaid mail costs so the prospect can send their information back to you. On the internet you can make a web page on your blog that will allow users to fill in their information if they are interested. These are the best people to put on your mlm lists because they express an interests to you, not vice versa.
Getting Into It More:
Find groups of people that are more inclined to MLM opportunities. Maybe a group of people that have just got laid off or are having a hard time in their industry. Then go find somebody within that industry and have them sign up under you. Then work with that person to build a list of their fellow contacts. They will have a much better idea of who to target on a mailing list within their industry than you.
Position Yourself as a Leader:
Having hype is one thing, but to only have hype is another thing. Everybody needs an emotional push on your mailing lists, but slamming mlm in their face is too much. Target a group you can build a relationship with. At the end of the day you are suppose to be a leader and to rally those you sign up. You need a relationship with those people and you can do it through your mailing lists.
